Dr Veronica Newton

Lecturer in Podiatry and Private Practitioner

Dr Veronica Newton PhD, MSc, BSc, DPodM, PGCert, SFHEA, MRCPod is a Lecturer in Podiatry at the University of Salford. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, in recognition of her understanding, expertise, and leadership in teaching and learning. Veronica has always actively worked in clinical practice and in the private sector. Veronica has developed a specialist interest in hormone changes related to menopause, and musculoskeletal symptoms in the lower limb. Her knowledge and skills support people in private practice, facilitated by the completion of additional training. She has worked with Royal College of Podiatry to support stakeholder feedback on NICE guidelines consultation and is part of a research group to develop further multi disciplinary working.
