Dermatology Specialist Podiatrist

Sarah has worked in healthcare for 25 years as a Nurse, health technology nurse specialist and as a Podiatrist with a specialism in Dermatology. Sarah qualified with a Master’s degree in Clinical Dermatology earlier this year with a thesis on the effect of photodynamic therapy on mycotic nails. Sarah also has a specialist interest in Photobiomodulation.

An Introduction to Dermoscopy of the Foot

This session explores dermatoscope use in podiatry practice and how it can help in the examination of acral skin lesions.

We will cover the language of dermatology, benign and malignant dermatoglyphic patterns as well as how to document lesions and make a good referral.
