Suzy Speirs

Consultant Podiatric Surgeon

Suzy Speirs is an NHS consultant Podiatric surgeon leading a small surgical team operating at The Whittington Hospital in London. Suzy has worked privately for over 25 years with Premier Podiatry Ltd, specialising in adult and paediatric biomechanics and sports injuries of the lower limb. She works closely with sports medicine consultants, physiotherapists, strength and conditioning experts and interventional radiologists to deliver evidence based, expert care. She has extensive experience with 3D, pressure and video gait analysis technologies.

Suzy has contributed to several sports medicine texts and a recent Delphi consensus study on Achilles tendinopathy. She is trained in point of care ultrasound which she utilises in her day to day practice.

Suzy is a guest lecturer on imaging modalities and interpretation for undergraduate podiatry degree and postgraduate sports medicine MSc programs.
